Today we learn about how God protected Elijah when he was threatened to be killed. Elijah escaped and went and hid in the desert. He was scared but God was watching over him and assured him that He was in control.

In this lesson we talk about God sending down fire from heaven on Mount Carmel. There were 450 prophets praying to Baal all day long and received no answer. Elijah prayed one simple prayer and saw God send down fire. On this day God showed His power and proved that He is the one and only true and living God.
