Last Sunday we spent most of the time teaching about the Armor of God and why it is important to put it on each day. We also discussed what class will be like and what our new students can expect each week.
This week we will combine lessons from last week and this week. We will be learning about Israel's first king, Saul and how Saul's disobedience caused God to remove him from being king. We will continue with David being chosen to be king. David was a man after God's own heart. He didn't always do right but he loved God. When David did do wrong he repented and changed his behavior. That is the key to a heart after God.
